Chateau Morrisette
Chateau Morrisette Winery, Southwest Virginia's oldest and largest winery, is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Meadows of Dan in Floyd County. Established in 1978, the winery is now the largest building constructed of salvage timbers in the United States. Visitors entering the Winery are likely to be personally greeted by Nicholas, one of the black Labs that live there, and whose image appears on several of our wines' labels.

The restaurant at Chateau Morisette offers eclectic American cuisine incorporating the finest regional produce and game, fresh seafood from the coastal water of North Carolina, farm rasied catfish, artisan cheeses, homemade desserts, and fresh baked breads. The restaurant opens for lunch Wednesday through Sunday, and is open for dinner Friday and Saturday nights.

From light bodied rieslings and buttery Chardonnays to the bright fruit of our Chambourcin and rich, full-bodied Cabernets, our winemaking team makes of 18 different award-winning wines in varying styles to suit almost any palate.
